We ran into a water issue as well but that’s the way it goes sometimes with a well. I found the issue was the maintenance man that was hired and not the landlord that was the issue. He had never really resolved the problem but told her that he had.. we were reimbursed for every water hall we made and Liz was great about it. We loved her as a landlord, by the book, respectful, quick to send someone out for something when needed and when my husband came home (out of work) when covid hit she was completely understanding and respectful. Also, I’ve had landlords Nickel and dime me for deposits before. Liz wasn’t about all that, and we got our deposit back minus things for repairs only. During our stay we weren’t too thrilled, because of the repeated water problems, but it’s like one of those moments where you don’t realize what you had until it’s gone… like now, when we have an extremely rigid and even pushing the boundaries of what’s legal- landlord. We still wish we could go back to our old place.

Liz is the worst. Very rude and needs to retire. We rented from them for 5 years. Nothing but problems. They do not care. Good luck reaching anyone after hours or on the weekends. Liz is short with people and very rude. She even told us she hates dealing with tenants. We have been days without water or heat. Most their homes do not have cooling. When you move out they find anything under the sun to make sure you do not get your deposit back. Avoid dealing with them at all costs. Also avoid Liz. She is just not right.

just a follow up to a previous review I had done........ I wanted to change my review and now give immediate thanks to Liz and Lee for hearing our concerns and going above and beyond to get the things we were asking for handled. Renting isn't something we're used to and we jumped the gun in making a review that may have not been so favorable. I can say with pure honesty that we are satisfied with our home, with the company that we are renting from and personally happy with Lee and Liz. They've righted the things we asked and to above our expectations. Liz even went as far as calling us personally to make sure we were comfortable and secure in our new home. This company manages many amazing properties and we would like to say thanks and give two thumbs up to East Mountain Rentals. Don't hesitate to make a deal with them if you're making a move. They stand by their word and will make sure you are 100% satisfied with your living arrangements. Thanks again and we are definitely loving our new home!!
